Turn Structure

Follow these steps during each turn of the game

Each player draws 7 cards and places 1 Basic Pokémon as their Active Pokémon.

Draw Phase

At the start of your turn, draw 1 card from your deck.

Play Trainer cards, attach Energy, evolve Pokémon, and use Abilities.

Attack Phase

Your Active Pokémon can attack if it has the required Energy attached.
